Since posting my Layout and TO creation scripts only just last night I’ve already got an updated version for the Layout creation that works around the 6 second pause issue. In this version I fixed a couple of bugs, added extra tell blocks and some other pauses for creation and closing of windows and had the script work in Layout Mode instead of the Manage Layouts dialog.
This means you can create ( as in my example ) dozens of layouts, all correctly named etc in a minute or two. Nice 🙂
Update 1 : Amended file attached.
Update 2 : Re-saved the file using the AppleScript Editor instead of Script Debugger, so now anyone on a Mac should be able to open the files.
